While PlayStations are manufactured under Sony and X-Box consoles are under Microsoft, Nintendo are focused on specializing in only gaming systems. From the old-school NES to the most recent Nintendo Switch, it’s honestly impossible to not be able to recognizable at least one Nintendo-made system. Their interface is so immersive because they’ve grown to specialize in creating portable consoles, with their release of the Game & Watch in the 1980’s. Having the ability to take your video game on the go was an experience equivalent to the creation of the mobile phone. It broke the restriction of only being able to play indoors. As years went by, advancements were made to further improve the experience, from the soft round buttons on the Game Boy to the stylus and touch screen on the DS. The Nintendo Wii was one of the biggest innovations Nintendo’s ever made. Though it was an at-home console, it was the first console in a long time to allow the player to use actually body movements and motions to play. The newest addition to the Nintendo family is the Switch, a system that allows you to play at home on your television, on the go, and even use movements to play certain games. Nintendo strives to touch multiple aspects of human interaction with their versatile gaming consoles.
